60 gallon 2ft cubed, just looking into a list of fish I'm interested make sure they're all ok, halfway through cycling water all live rock in
Your stocking list is fine, however the clownfish, once mature, will be aggressive. Dwarf angels are not coral safe, especially towards meaty LPS corals.
Okay my clowns are in and we think they are actually juvenile allardi.
somewhat aggressive when mature
We are doing more research bacause tank is rimless...open. It looks like tiger/diamond goby might be common jumper.
with pistol shrimp, less likely to jump but still possible
Also most wrasse too. It says canary wrasse less prone to jump but then we cant have feathers.
correct
Any suggestions on goby and wrasse that are less common to jump?
virtually all wrasses except possum wrasses are jump prone, shrimp gobies with shrimp (which means a substrate) are less likely to jump. However, all fish can jump, and if harassed by tank mates may attempt it.
Also looking at our list any other suggestions if not? No damsel....we not want them! Also no tang as we feel tank is to small and we want happy fish![]()

Royal Gramma
four striped damselfish will limit choices going forward
Pacific Cleaner Shrimp

Clean Up Crew

75 gallon, reef/fish mix tank, best sequent plz, will introduce them slowly as funds are available
In a 55 w/ 20 sump Mixed Reef
Have 2 medium tomato clowns aggressive
1 Large Banded Sleeper Goby
1 4 inch Melanarus
4 inch Fu Manchu Lion will eat what he can, which is anything 2 inches or smaller, may try to eat others that are even larger
Going to a 125g tank w/ sump June 5th. Stocking question I'm curious on if I can survive till the move would be dropping tomatoes for a 15 yr old big maroon clown and her hubby, flame angel (supposedly hasn't eaten corals or the guys clams), dragon goby.
Nothing the lion should be able to eat, and he'll be staying in the 55 post move.
Hello. I'll be setting up my 75 gallon tank next weekend. Will have 38 gallon sump/fuge. RO nwb-150 protein skimmer and about 50-75 lbs of rock. It will be a softie dominated tank. I'd like to get my stock list down so I can get the first couple fish in QT. Here is my proposed list, and order of introduction.
1. Banggai Cardinal-tank bred
Purple Firefish
2. Royal Gramma
Court Jester Goby
3. McCosker's Flasher Wrasse
Red Head Solon Fairy Wrasse
4. White Tail Bristletooth Tang
Will these be ok? Thanks.
Yes, and the order is excellent. You dok however, have three fish that can be prolific jumpers so you will need to cover the tank with 1/4 inch mesh.
Soon-to-be 125 mixed reef:
Moving over from current tank:
YWG/melanurus wrasse/occ. Clown
In order of addition:
Firefish and tailspot blenny
Bangaii cardinal "“ tank bred
Marine betta can/will eat small fish
Starry blenny
Midas blenny
Flasher wrasse trio (2 female/1 male)
dwarf angel "“ two possible? two is possible, ideally introduced concurrently
Ctenochaetus sp.
Yellow tang "“ too close in shape to previous? yellows tend to be very aggressive once established but if added last, may be ok
blue throat trigger can/will eat small fish and some invertebrates
Mandarin pair (after one year)
How about anemone shrimp instead of harlequin? Not sure how to reply to a message one here
