I have a 60gallon hex with 40lbs of sand, 30lbs of LR. I have a tunze 9004 skimmer, LED lights. I will be adding more LR in the future.

It has been up since just after new years. I have two baby maroons maybe an inch each.
1 red legged hermit
three small frag zoas

I would like to get a
blue damsil
dottyback (strawberry)
Yellow watchman goby

and eventually a green bubble tip anome

All fish in your tank (except the watchman goby) will be very aggressive, and with those choices, no other fish will be able to be added. The maroon clowns, especially, once sexually mature, will want to control the entire tank.

First of all snorvich you and this thread rock! Have saved me with all of the stocking on previous tanks. I hope you can help me with the new pred/scorp tank im at a bit of a loss.



The tank is a +120 4'x2'x25", 70 gallon sump with aquamaxx em200 rated for 240 gallons, 30 gallon external display fuge loaded with macro and 1 snowflake eel and 2 leaf fish.



As for the 120 (sure this is to much would like some help narrowing down) I would like to add in order:

Antennata lionfish

Foxface lo

Powder blue tang

Glass eye Squirrel fish (may settle for stripped based on availability)

Volitan lionfish

Yellow headed moray eel



I know you don't give suggestions on fish other than what is put forward but if you have any other idea would love to hear them.

Sorry, I don't give advice on predator community tanks. When I keep predators (I love certain types of frogfish, but find lionfish boring) I always keep them as a single species tank.

Yes, no problem a all.

Hard to say. Once the maroon clowns are mature, they won't allow much in the water column.

A nicely coloured Carpenter Wrasse. He has already found a cozy place to hide when he needs to, but is quite happy hunting down the various pods that inhabit my tank.
Now if only I could keep those snails off my live rock....

Unfortunately, a flasher wrasse requires a significantly larger tank due to its activity level.

1 cleaner four line wrasse cleaner wrasse is not recommended
1 leopard wrasse after the tank is mature, either the leopard wrasse or mandarin but not both

That PJ cardinal as of right now doesn't mess with the sexy shrimp. I know this doesn't really mean much. The sexy shrimp lives in the hammer coral. Is it possible its hiding or stressed? I would remove the PJ cardinal if I need to, as I would love to add more sexies to the tank.

Paracheilinus carpenteri would be fine

cardinals do eat small shrimp; however, sexy shrimp always try to live in protected areas

One spot foxface
I had a Flame Angel that died, don't know if the blenny killed it or what (those 2 always fought) it was just dead between the rocks.
I would like to replace the Angel. My LFS has a Pygmy, Flame Back,a multi-color and a flame. Of these choices which would be the least aggressive for a peaceful tank.

the foxface (and blenny, which is it was unhappy with a member of the same ecological niche) is an algae grazer; I would probably not get another dwarf angel in that sized tank with the foxface. However all of the dwarfs you mention are semi-aggressive

Okay, I am going to stay away from a dwarf angel then.

If I switched out the orchid dottyback for an indigo or purple dottyback would it be okay with the fire fish and carpenter wrasse?
