Pooky's 300

Who IS this guy??? :clown: Long time no see/talk. Hope everything is well :)

Don't mind me. I'm just the guy drooling over your fish list and trying to decide what I can justify putting into a 75g tank:lolspin:

Everything's going well enough, though it wouldn't do any good to complain anyhow...

How's this guy do for you in your tank Kenny? They have one here locally at Aquatouch I just saw the other day, looks very good!

Aquatouch just became a new RC sponsor/vendor here. I've been fortunate to be local to them and can say they are a great resource for quality fish, coral and inverts! Been doing business with them for over a decade now.

No, I don't work for them either just thought I'd give you fish lovers (Kenny) in particular a heads up on another good place to score some quality fish from!

He/she is doing great. I can never tell the difference between the male/females so let's just call it a shemale :D Thanks for the heads up. I will probably be looking to add another one down the road.

Well, we can all take turns drooling at other people's tanks. And you are right about the complaining part. Everyone has had their ups and downs, so it's a fact of life. As long as you do the right thing, it all works out in the end. And no, I am not just talking about reefing.

Kenny, what do you keep your water temp at currently? Just curious as I heard the Bandit's do better in colder water? Although, the one I saw was in the same tank as my Gold Flake and that water temp was about 77 degrees or so....

Thanks

Dave, I keep my system at 72-73. It sometimes peak at 75 during the summer but not all day, just a hour or two.

Here is an updated shot of the tank before the new sand is added. I also brought back the colonies and other pieces that Leo has been holding for me. With a few more brown sticks, at least the tank doesn't look so empty :o

Kenny, Did you have some more bleaching in your chalices and monti cap?

Yep, a few things bleached out after I added the T5's. The Aquablue+ was just too much for the Season's Greetings and the Key Lime. That Key Lime is one sensitive SOB :hammer: I ended up changing out the front T5 to Actinic+ about a month ago to cut down on the intensity.

Thanks Dan. Hope I get some good growth and colors back soon. Will be hunting down a few replacements in another month or so :)
Let me know what you're looking for and if I have it I'll bring it up to CFM in a month...perfect timing.

Thanks Dan! Right now, off the top of my head, I am looking to replace the Oregon tort and the Purple Monster. There will be others but I am going to be selective this time around what goes back in.
