Eric, that's crushed coral in the frag tank. It's the CaribSea Florida Crushed Coral, Geo-Marine Formula. In the display, I use the CaribSea Seaflor Special Grade Reef Sand

Exactly my sentiments.

BTW, what type of lighting does the Icefire like?

You can put the ice fire basically anywhere in the tank and it will do well. I prefer to put it mid level that way you still have your lower levels for your LPS.

Cool. That'll give me more options in terms of placement cuz the tank desperately need more light. It got it in the frag tank now.

Here are some fish pix I too last night. tacocat, you might like the first two.

I have mine high in the tank, about five inches from the top. BTW, did you really get the flavoguttatus?

Kenny, what mode/settings/lens did you shoot your fish with? Thanks

Mark, I used the Canon Rebel XT with the standard lense shooting in the sport mode. I am still trying to learn how to use this camera and which settings are best when shooting different subjects.

Thanks dude. I think I'll keep it in the frag tank until it grows bigger b/c it can get more light there.

No, I was just messing around. Don't know enough about them yet so I didn't want to put them in the tank along with my harem of Barlett's. They are beautiful fish and I know I can get them if I wanted some. Do you know anything about that fish? Such as hardiness, food preferences, etc.?

OK, my sucky pictures of trying to capture the beauty of Kenny's tank from my visit to his place.

Now, you just need to get your efflo to color back up since it's such a focal point for the tank.

And oh yeah, the sandbed has been cleaned up a bit since those shots were taken. I can actually see the sand :lmao:

New Orenji Chalice I just picked up.

My Gold Digger Echino I've had for a while. The gold highlight is coming in nicely but very hard to capture on camera.

A few Favias I've been growing out from frags. The first one has insane colored mouths that I didn't noticed until I moved it for the photos.

Thanks murphysfish.

Ryan - I just moved the Echinos there for the shot. The Clam is there on the crate temporarily until I figure out where to put it in the main tank.
