You could frag it and glue it to the glass or set the xenia next to the glass and it will just grow up on the glass.

Many people have recomend me to add Lugol's Solution solutionâ„¢. Xenia seem to love it acording to them and it spread faster. is that true?

Xenia grow very quickly if the overall water parameters are good. For many people xenia becomes a nuciance because it does grow so quickly. I used lugols when I first started reef keeping but found it didnt really make much difference and subsequently stopped using it to no ill effect. IMHO I think that most if not all nutrient additives are a waste of money.

hmm.. my xenia haven't been open more than like a 1/4 inch for the past 3 weeks.. water parameters are all good, and experiencing good growth from my zoos/colt coral (this is in my 5 gal) all i have for water movement is an aquaclear mini.. on the opposite side of the tank, do you think the small water movement is a problem?

beside calcium y dont add anything to my tank. but my xenia(enlongata and common red sea) seem to grow but thats it. it doesnt spread or anything. i did saw a single polyp growing near the red sea xenia but now that i swich everything to another tank is gone
