Was that on Ridge Rd.? I was in Greece this morning when I heard about the power outage in several towns, including parts of Brockport (where I am). On my way home westbound traffic was sent off Ridge Rd. well before 259. When I got home around noon all was fine and the we had never lost power, thank goodness. There was much flickering in Lenscrafters while I was there and they were concerned about their equipment.

I guess a 115kilovolt (something like that) broke and interrupted power to as many as 46,000 customers.

We hooked up our little generator and I ran everything on the aquarium and the furnace. I paid under $200 for that thing and it has been handy on several occasions.

Jeff- can you describe exactly where you took that pic of the downed line?

News reports were saying a high voltage line went down near the airport.
I was telling the guys at work that I wouldn't be surprised if a line went down along 259.

ESPECIALLY in North Chili they get a lot of downed lines and snapped poles.
I've been driving up and down 259 all my life and I've never seen another area so prone to downed lines!
