I see some of you with vinyl hose and barbs and no clamps, are they just not installed in the pictures?

GlassReef have you used those skimmers before with the drain lines shared like that or do you know someone that is doing so with no problems?

There are clamps on the vinyl hose - they're special nylon clamps and you can't see them very well.

I had a problem with it, until I replaced the 1-1/2" horizontal pipe with 2". That said, I do have a single setup I use when I take one of the skimmers off line for a while. At times, I just leave the single lines set up. Makes it easier. The dual setup is sexy and all- and it works with the 2" - but single overflows are more practical.

Mine don't leak right now, but I am in the testing phase.

I'm looking for a certain type of plastic clamp that I am having a hard time locating. When I find them, they will be immediately installed to prevent problems from popping up (or off as the case may be....)

turbo i will take a few pics of my stand, i am still building it but i need to connect my chiller, calcium reactor, UV and phosban. i am useing a ehiem 1262 but i think i will upgrade to a snapper.
