I've been following on another thread - I think he got them at the beginning of November. They look great, don't they? Would also love to hear what they're eating.

Years ago when I tried some (lasted 8 mo. if I remember correctly). I had contacted someone in Australia who had some. He told me they get them close to where he lived and around there they weren't considered challenging. I've always wondered since then if they are more susceptible to shipping issues.

But that's not what the guy with the extreme feeding set up said. (Can't remember his name, sorry :o) He was saying they have to eat constantly. Inquiring minds want to know! What say you Happy?

My gosh they are gorgeous!

Happy, I just realized I answered for you - sorry about that! I get overly enthusiastic about tukas.

:D Marie, no problem.

I had first 3 since november and added 2 more about 4 weeks ago. They get food about 6-8 times a day.

Menu:
frozen food: BBS, rotifers, capelin roe, nutramar ova, cyclopeeze
dry food: Elos zooplankton, FM ultra minF
live: Freshly hatched BBS

Yes, thanks! I didn't have time to look it up. I couldn't get your link to work, but here's his website with pics of that feeding set up http://www.manhattanreefs.com/forum/reefs-magazine/71849-boldly-colored-beauties-tuka-anthias.html

Nice! 6-8 times a day -- that's a lot of feeding. Do you do it manually?
