Puffer fish recommendations and care

I love puffer fish and now I can dedicate a 48 gallon fowlr to a puffer!! My dream is a saddled Toby. A few questions... Can I QT a puffer in a 10 gallon tank? How do you care for their teeth?? I understand they keep growing?? Can they be a tank mate with a blue headed jaw fish? Other good tank mates suggestions?

Please share your experiences with how you care for your puffer and how long you have housed one.

A 10 gal is fine for a QT.

Feed the puffer small snails and shrimp to keep its teeth worn down. To be honest, I've never seen a toby with teeth problems, but I suppose it can happen.

If you keep a blue-headed jawfish, or any jawfish, you'll need to cover the tank as it WILL jump.
