pulverized limestone?

I just inherited a 75g and i'm now in the process of gathering stuff for initial setup. In researching sand beds I've read that pulverized limestone can make as good of bed as aragonite for a lot less $$. I intend to start with a FOWLR and down the road try some corals. I'd appreciate any insight on the limestone that anybody can offer. Success/failure stories?

Thanks

I've had plenty of success using pulverized limestone (Pavestone brand ONLY). I've not used any other brand besides this so can't comment on how succesfull or not they would be. As for pavestone though, once ya rinse it well enough, or like I did, just wait till it settles as the tank is curing, and to date, have had no bad occurances that i can attribute to my sandbeds. Currently using this in 3 different setups, along with a little mix of live aragnoite, crushed coral, dry ooltic, and indonesian black sand. mostly pavestone though.
