Purple Hornet Zoas

What you have is close but they are not Purple Hornets. They are very good looking zoas and you should be proud to have them just the same.

They do not have the alternating skirts so no purple hornet, but I would be willing to argue that they look nicer than the PHs with that nice bright purple!

I have seen some really nice ones, and they really are sweet! I like the ones the dude got for $39.99, they remind me of the blue hornets that are sweet as well.

i am picking up some blues at the MR frag swap. honestly i like those better then the purples anyway. but like once stated before its all in the eye of the beholder.

In my expierence with them the blue ones are the purple ones. I have a few polyps with less light that are super purple and i have a frag of the same colony up higher in the tank and they glow blue!

That is what I have read about them. In higher light they turn more blue and in lower light are the deep purple color.

Lemon drops, AOI, Alien eyes, Purple Hornets all the same just a morph of one or the other.Purple Hornets are over priced AOI
