whats sa dead vs. alive culture look like? how do you know when to put it in the fridge, when to split, and when to dump?

I've had several people tell me the Rainfords is tough to keep, but he was the second fish I put in my 20 gal. However, my 20 gal is plagued with green turf algae and I've read that's necessary for the Rainford's. If he's not sifting sand, he picking at the turf, so I'm assuming that's correct. I'll be happy to send you some turf algae if you want? Also very good at lowering Nitrates (Marc keeps turning down my offers for some reason though?).

No really, its looking great! I am part way through ep. 26 at the mo and Im looking forward to more! So put your life on hold and upgrade to a 6x2x2 and then have about 10 shows talking about it! Mount it sideways and make it out of acrylic or something, then curse about the bubbles in the joins!

I really like your prop tank! the front only zero edge is a great idea (even if it was someone elses ) and it looks great with the black sand.

Marc's anemone crawled all the way around the back of my rock work and is sitting in a spot where I can't see him well but he can get plenty of light. After two weeks or so I'm going to move him back.

Every time I move him he just moves back there right now. I guess he's not used to all my light yet. After all, Marc had him under the same amount of water with half the light as my system.

Work is not allowing me to get enough time to post tank shots yet. Soon.

No worries, David Copperband is still swimmin like a mad man. He's on a hunger strike at the moment but looks great and isn't skinny or upset. I added the anemone and some zoas the other day and I guess David doesn't do well with change.

Nice!! Let us know how you like it. I know some people had some DOA problems with the first shipment that came from woot but they just talked with woot and got a new one sent or refunded.
