Thanks guys! Series 66 certified, Series 7 certified and Group 1 Insurance certified. Now you all have to buy stuff from me :D

I'm making water stuff like crazy tonight. Doing water changes and scraping the glass etc, trying to get the tank all perfect so I can go to Marc's for the next two days.

I'll take pictures in the morning, it really wasn't worth it tonight with all the crud floating around. And have no fear Johnny, I borrowed my dad's backup camera again, so no more terrible pics this time around.

I'm in love with the black sand in the prop tank. Only complaint is every little piece of detritus shows against it meaning more cleaning.

Way to go Evan!!!! I know how glad you are to have that behind you believe me I know.

I'll drink one for you tonight!

The certifications are what you need to legal sell financial advice and products in the U.S. It took me over 3 months of studying to pass them all.

It's funny you mention it reminding you of Hana. That's exactly what I was going for as I have been there many times.

The lights weren't on this morning when I left for Marc's so pics will have to wait :( Soon though I promise.

Selling financial advice ... Any free advice besides PBITAWA ! Can't wait to see the photos of you personal black sand beach. "Maui no ka oui"

Congratulations! So, how sound an investment is a reef aquarium?

As for the Black sand, my Rainford's Goby keep mine the cleanest part of the tank by constantly sifting it. I just wish he wouldn't constantly sift it onto my open brain. :(

Congrats on passing your certs. Does this mean that you'll have your own 200+ gal tank soon?

Not to re-rail the thread or anything. But how often are you cleaning your sump? It looks really clean. No salt creep or anything. Same with your skimmer cup. It looks brand new. Mine has a thick, hardened layer of sludge I just cant get off.

Thanks! It's about the worst money sink I can think of but I wouldn't trade it for Google's IPO :D

I miss my Raisnford's Goby :( But he didn't filter my sand much, just picked at it a little... Come to think of it, maybe that's why he died

Thanks for all the congrats guys!

Gotta buy a house and a bigger car to move it with first :D But yes, eventually that's in the works.
