Well I ran out of live blackworms for the David Copperband a few days ago and so he's been on hunger strike. I stopped by the LFS today and they were out. So in hopes of finding something frozen he would try, I grabbed some frozen bloodworms.
I get home and David and I had a little chat before I dropped any in. I told him that he was going to have to eat these if he wanted food for the next few weeks as I don't know where to get live blackworms when my LFS won't stock them.
Welp, I guess I was right with my assumption that it would be an easy switch from live blackworms to frozen blood worms. David Copperband is a bloodworm eating maching.
Also I got tired of the small patches of cyano regardless of my perfect water parameters. I treated with Chemi Clean last night and UV sterilizer, Magnavore reactor with carbon and skimmer have all been shut down for the next 48 hours. My new saltwater is ready for the change and has been mixing for 24 hours already. The cyano is already almost non existent.
Pictures to come when I get time (Series 7 attempt 2 tomorrow, wish me luck).
