Here's how I did mine:

To hide power cord, I ran it into wall at base of bracket, then pulled it out of the wall behind the bookcase on which the tank sits.

Here's mine, made out of 3/4" steel. Received by 1" bracket so it's adjustable. Milled out the back to feed the wire

Initially we are making them for 18"-20" wide tanks and 24" wide tanks. We will probably release a model for a 30" wide tank in the near future. They are also available for the AI Hydra, Hydra FiftyTwo and we will soon have one for the Hydra TwentySix. Since Ecotech Marine and AI and together now I don't think EM will mind that I mentioned them here :love2:.

How expensive is the profile?

Here are some pics of my Radion G3 mount I recently finished for my 80g upgrade.

First pic is the design I started with..

And here are a couple with it mounted over my 40B... (upgrade to 80 soon)

The mount is made using 80/20 Black Aluminum Extrusion. I will be able to hide the wiring in the channel slots on the way down behind the tank, it should be pretty clean!!

Black is more expensive, that said it cost about 170.00 including shipping. Silver would have been closer to 100.00. But then again it holds 2 lights!!

Here is the mounting system over my frag tank. It slides forwards / backwards and left / right. The mounts to the Radions swivel. Basically I can position the Radions any way I want them and even angle them as well.
