Has anyone here heard about raising PH to 10-11 o/o to get female to lay her eggs?

+1. Having a tank with stable conditions (pH at 8.3 is ideal), feeding the clowns a healthy, mixed diet, and from what I hear -- slow romantic music -- are what you need for your female to lay eggs.

E gads, no. Forget the math, but pH is logarithmic, so 10 is 1,000 times more basic than 8. Might as well dump drain cleaner in your tank.
