That was a perfectly fine question IMO....

if I said 2,000 dollars would you all be drooling right now ?
or if I said 25 bucks would you all say "yeah right ! ,those cant be rare "
most on these boards weren't keeping marine fish since the early 70's like I have...I've worked at 2 lfs...helped build another, and was a partner in one of NY's most sucessful storesin the 90's..

I've only seen these type of clowns twice before in the last 30 yrs.

Wow a little high on ourselves.

Those are very nice clownfish. A guy here in the Bay area, fingerwrinkles, has a pair in his beautiful display tank. Unless you knew what they were you would think clownfish...nothing special, although the colors and all are gorgeous. I knew what they were right away. Good find, especially for very little money. A picture would be great :).

I don't believe he is. That's how it is with some people. Pay $500 for a fish and people are oooohing and ahhhhing and paying a lot less people aren't as impressed. It's fine to ask, but the purchaser doesn't have to answer. ;)

He wasn't showing off when he was posting his experience but meerly stating how much he's been involved in the fish hobby and stating that out of all that time he's only seen them XX times. Since it's on a forum and not in person it's so easy to take things the wrong way.

Pictures of the fish would be great :D

wow, sounds like u want his nuts

it sounds like you like talking about nuts....

Back on topic, this thread is useless without pics.

Korrine - thanks for your correct and kind assessment...
I hate blowing my own horn, and grandstanding-but when people ask a question that shows they think you are an idiot...I just have to let them know..I am not just blowing hot air..
If I thought I was a hotshot I suppose I would be a mod on one of these boards or a writer for advanced aquarist or some other snobby publication..
I prefer to keep a low profile and just enjoy this wonderful hobby..

right now-I have them in my QT with aqua pro cure...the water is yellowed from the meds...
so after I polyfilter - out the meds in a few days I will try a pic...
