recently cicled tank. Can I put two ocellaris

I have my 150 l tank (about 38 gal.) recently cicled. All my parameters are OK except nitrates (I have 20 ppm). Can I put two aquarium raised ocellaris? must I wait nitrates go down?

PH= 8,5; nitrite: 0,0; NH4 = 0,0; density 1,024; redox 222 and increasing.

I don't see a ammonia test reading which is the biggest concern with fish. But if you are still getting a Nitrate reading, that means you aren't fully cycled yet as everything should be zero except salinity and PH of course

But, do you think nitrate will go down automatically?... Must I change some water?
When I had a 150 Gal tank, nitrate was going down very slowly and I have to change water to low it... (it´s posible I had little live rock, now I have a lot).

I will test to know if is going down... only that after 3 year without aquarium I am anxious to have new fishes.

Do some water changes to get it down, nitrates don't automatically go down to zero by themselves. The water at the LFS where the fish are from is likely around 20 or 40, however, don't rush getting fish. How long has tank been up?

I've seen tanks cycle in a week or two, and in other cases in a few months. Just wait until ammonia, nitrates and nitrites are near 0ppm.

A slight rise in nitrATE means that your tank has completed the harmful (mostly) part of it's cycle and is ready for livestock (very light at first). Once you get nitrATE you will need to start with the water changes to get it down and keep it down. Having a running refugium and DSB won't hurt either.

If your readings are like this:

Ammonia - 0
NitrITE - 0
NitrATE - 0-15
PH - 8.0-8.2
Salinity - 1.023-1.026

You are ready for a pair of clowns. Just do a 20% water change and let the tank settle overnight. You should be QT new livestock anyway so the tank will have plenty of time to settle.

Nitrates are falling down very fast, 4 days ago lecture was 20 ppm and today only about 12 ppm;I´ll buy my ocellaris pair on friday 24 december... my Chrismast gift.

Thanks everyone
