Red Dragon Pumps Coming Soon - New Lower Pricing!!!

I don't think those numbers are correct. I think at 0 meters the output is close to those numbers.

I'd guess those are max head numbers (cutoff) and flow listed to be at zero head. They move a lot of water for the size but are not pressure rated pumps.

I blieve Klaus left to travel to the US the end of last week, Thursday or Friday. He will be attending MACNA with us this weekend, so it might be a week or a little more until he is able to post here again. I will get with him at the show and get everything straightened out on the flow curves and post back here.

Thanks,
Jeremy

still wondering if these smaller pumps have curves yet? i need a return
on my 60 gallon reef suitable for a 4 foot or so head pressure.

I do not have any flow curves for the pumps, I apologize. We should have the first shipment within a week, two very max.

Thanks,
Jeremy

When will these be available and are all of the RD 2.5 to the RD 14 going to have the US specification of 110 Volt/60 Hz motorblocks, US-Plugs and 1” Unions?

All of the pumps will be available, ranging from the 2.5 to the 12. The 14 will not be coming in to the US. All of these will be 110v/60hz motors with non-metric unions.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Jeremy,
Pardon the question (I am not very techy) but will there be a red dragon that could replace a hammerhead sequence pump that goes from my basement to the first floor, which is about 15 feet? I currently have the sequence turned back. I know how good the red dragons are because I have BK skimmers (which are awesome). Thanks for any information.

My thinking was the same as above, but for the sequence barracuda. It would be awesome to have a powerfull and silent pump, if thats possible.

Red Dragon II - 5,278gph to 13,195gph

Yes, I was concerned about head pressure as well. But I don't need that much flow as I have four Tunze in that tank. I am looking for silence and reliability (primary).

Keep in mind the Red Dragon II is the new DC pump that is Klaus is working on. There is no release date set for that pump in the US yet.

Should be soon. Since it is DC, there is no 220 > 110v or 50hz > 60hz conversion issue like with other pumps. Its just the adapter that goes on the pump that varies... and thats very, very simple (you could literally do it yourself if you wanted to with a little electrical know-how, or just use a voltage converter). This pump will run the same here as it does in the EU, pretty cool, eh?

I cant wait for the Red Dragon Skimmer pumps. I dream of a whole line of them... 100watts, 75 watts, 50 watts, 25 watts... for all skimmers 800lph to 4000lph... dream dream dream...
