Red Dragon Pumps Coming Soon - New Lower Pricing!!!

Klaus,

Thank you for posting manufacturing pictures. Not many manufacturers provide pictures here on the forums. I'm impressed with the amount of time you spend answering questions and showing us cool pictures.

With the new pricing, I just might be able to convince my wife that I need one. Or I might just have to sell my truck to get a red dragon II when they come out :eek1:

Hi Everyone,

We did get in our first shipment of Red Dragon pumps. These are the circulation ones, not the modified for skimmer pumps. We do not have flow charts yet though. We have listed the gph by just using a litre to gallons conversion, which hopefully will get them pretty accurate.

Very good news.

Anyone interested in a project for some store credit? I would like to get those converted so I can update our website. I would like to be able to list the flow rate at 4 feet and max head pressure.

Anyone intererested that is certain they can get accurate results, drop me an email at sales@premiumaquatics.com

*Jens, since you found the link, I'll give you first shot if you are interested.

thanks

Do you have any data/specs on the RD2 skimmer pumps for the US yet? All I know is that they are supposed to be smaller than the regular RD2's, but still, pretty large... like 130 watts at full speed (5000rpm). I know they may not be 'out' yet, but some data would be nice.

Wouldn't those flow curves be for the European Red Dragons? I'm not sure they would be the same for the US motors running on US voltage? Maybe Klaus could provide some data here.
