It's out of stock right now so I can't link to it, but I was wondering if anyone on here has tried this and what they thought, compared to more common filter feeder formulations. I bought a can with my last order but can't find much on the web as far as feedback from people who have used it extensively or back to back with other brands.

Ive never seen that. Looks interesting, and has some good stuff in it. I think I may order some when I get a chance and try it out. Its actually pretty well priced considering dry its the equivalent of over a pound before drying. Whats the worst that could happen?

I thought the same thing - looks like a great list of ingredients and it's a LOT of food for only $5. It's two ounces, so $2.50 an ounce, compared to what seems like much higher costs for similar products (i.e. Reef Chili which is $15 per ounce).

My tank doesn't (yet?) have much in the way of filter feeding livestock but I'm starting to use some of this daily. The tank is young enough that I don't really feel confident making back-to-back comparisons yet, hence I was hoping others would try this or maybe already had.

I just got three jars. This product came highly recommended on another "nano" site. I've used it a couple of times but I can't say how good it is. It does smell bad, so I think that's a good sign, lol

I have this in my food rotation, haven't really noticed anything special but my clowns seem to like the larger pieces.

I'd be interested to hear how you're deciding how much to feed. Clearly there are a range of particle sizes but it seems biased towards very small particles. I don't have a ton of livestock able to utilize that small of a size considering how big my tank is so I'm feeding what's probably a pretty small amount for now.

I think you need to just do careful observation over time. Its easy to see if all the polyps are eating, but those are relatively large particles in the grand scheme of things. I try and watch my sponge growth. If it looks like it receding or shrinking I add a little more if its growing well and I can maintain the water quality, I figure Im in the good range.

I feed enough that it looks like a snowstorm in the tank. I leave on my powerhead to keep it circulating but turn off my fuge pump so it doesn't get filtered out.

I started using it about 3 months ago and it helped my orange gorg. come back to life and is now growing and has really big polyps. It also made my roivia start growing.
I also had an orange scleronepthya that I thought was completely gone but has come back with lots of polyps.
I had just about given up on my tank, but this clean reef food has given me hope!
