Reeflux 10K & 12K Comparison Pics

I just switched from 250W Reeflux 10K SE bulbs to Reeflux 12K bulbs. Obviously, since I just plugged in the 12K, they have not had time to burn in. But here are the first comparison pics.

10K Bulbs- running since Aug 2006

New 12K Bulbs with exact same camera settings- no adjustment for white balance

New 12K Bulbs after white balance was corrected (or at least attempted to correct- I still suck at this)

I have seen a lot of threads asking about the difference between these two bulbs. I decided to try them since it was about time to replace my other bulbs anyway. They are a little blue for my taste right now but hopefully they will burn in a little whiter. Time will tell.

Coralvue 250 watt electronic ballasts. Lumenarc mini reflectors.

I should also note that I also have 2- 46.5" VHO super actinic bulbs on in each picture.

Dose it look that blue as the pitcher or is it Little less blue?

After about a week that blue tones down a ton. I currently run 12k reeflux and here is a picture of what they actually look like.

There is no actinic's in that pic and that is with the white balance correct after them running for 3 months.
