rigleautomotive's Tank Pics Thread

how about pics on the pink/blue mile hehehe.

An older photo and a bit tough to see the powder blue tips in the pic but here it is

sanjaysmille-1-1.jpg

i saw also saw ur abrotanoides acro how fast do it grows on ur tank.

Fast but it is in prime real estate directly under a lumenarc III with a Radium burning it and it receives very strong random bursts of flow.I think any acro would likely grow fast in this spot.

Great job Dan, I always like seeing a pic of your pearlberry, it's pretty much my image of the perfect pearlberry colony in terms of coloration and growth form.

I see the difference now.....

Yea,tough to tell in the photos but the superman mille is darker red and tips are darker blue. The other is more pink with light blue but a subtle difference unless you are as OCD as me lol

nice pics as always.

Thanks

wow! another nice mille.thanks ..

Thanks

Thanks ,it was one of the early releases from ORA when it came out and I believe it may have something to do with it.They may have had a few different broodstock colonies and possibly a bit different genetically and in color etc Many have said there PB will not look this way no matter what they try to improve its coloration but it seems frags from my mother have had a good track record with retaining the bright contrasting colors

You've got my vote for tank of the month beautiful tank I hope my 125 will look have as good as that one day.

Thank you,lol Maybe TOTM V-2 is in order but I did get the honor once already. My tank has really evolved greatly since the last TOTM article and really looks much different now, comparing FTS to FTS
I aggressively removed some large mass from some of the overgrown colonies and opened the rock work up a bit. This and the new growth over the last year or so has changed the look a little.

haha,me either and thats why I only have a few and they are the ones I cherry picked over a 15 year period.Keeping the winners and getting rid of the ordinary. The zoos in my DT are all on the bottom 1/4 of the tank with strong random flow and shaded, diffused MH light.

I wish I had those acros in my tank. Beautiful. I dont always post a comment, but always love seeing new photos you post up. Keep the regular updates and photos coming! :)
