Rimless 320 gallon system Build *pics*

The Stand looks great Tim. Looks well built!

Tank is set to be picked up in 2 weeks!

Elijaher - The rock is coming along nicely. All the water changes and dunking/swishing really cleaned it up nice

I'm confused. So SuperR and SuperTs... you two are brothers who are both working on rimless tanks of your own?

Paul
We are good friends that have our own Rimless tanks. I am just giving SuperTs (Tim) a hand with his build.

I already have mine that has been sitting for about 5 months. I am just waiting to move to my new place to start the build, that will be soon. Mine is 60x36x26.

How do you like your Miracles tank man?

miracles built my tank and it's awesome very clean and looks very sturdy. My tank is 72x34x30 3 sided starphire eurobraced and also there is another brace on the inside on the bottom of the tank. Well if you live in markham i probably seen you at SeaUmarine before?

Theres a good chance you have seen me there. Been doing alot of window shopping in advance of getting this tank setup. Within a few weeks I will finally have the privilege of actually purchasing a fish or coral. I'm excited!

A few pics of the fish room primed and ready for paint. By the weekend the fish room will be complete with the floor epoxy.

I like the tank very much. The one issue I had was that seam I mentioned in my build thread. I talked to Derek about what it could be and he was unsure. He and his partner think it's cosmetic. But to err on the side of caution, he offered to build me a new one. I was a little reluctant at first, due to feeling bad about it. But he insisted that I not feel guilty. He said that ultimately he wanted me to be happy with my tank. So now I'm waiting on a new one. :)

You can't beat customer service like that, especially these days. :smokin:

BTW, that room is looking good. What brand of epoxy are you using?

I had the same issue with my rimless 120 from Derek. I had to send it back. It had the same defect in the front seam. Also had 2 small chips out of the front pane. I just sold the tank after that before it even seen water. But Hopefully it works out for you.

Not sure what type of epoxy. What do you recomend?

I remember you mentioning that in my thread. Wow, I'm sorry that happened to you. Did they not make it right?

Yeah, I hope it works out for me too. :)

I don't know what epoxy to use, which is why I asked you. :D ;) Actually, I wasn't planning on epoxying my floor, but am now considering it.
