I like the tank very much. The one issue I had was that seam I mentioned in my build thread. I talked to Derek about what it could be and he was unsure. He and his partner think it's cosmetic. But to err on the side of caution, he offered to build me a new one. I was a little reluctant at first, due to feeling bad about it. But he insisted that I not feel guilty. He said that ultimately he wanted me to be happy with my tank. So now I'm waiting on a new one.![]()
You can't beat customer service like that, especially these days. :smokin:
BTW, that room is looking good. What brand of epoxy are you using?
Paul
Paul, glad to hear you are getting your tank replaced. I dont think there is anyone in this hobby who could live with cosmetic deficiencies in their display tanks. Good luck with the new one.
As far as the epoxy goes, there seems to be some decent variety in places like home depot. I think as long as I go with one of their two-part kits it should do the job. They are available in custom colours now with some pretty neat add-ons, or should I say additives, such as flakes and anti-skid texturing powders.
I will most likely be epoxying this week so will post results.
