The tank quality is top notch Tim!! Really really fine quality!!

When you planing to get this bad boy wet??

Thanks Ed! The will be plumbed in 2 weeks time. This will give me plenty of time to finish the fish room, hang the light and work at aquascaping.

Thanks guys for the encouraging words! Glad to see the hard work I've put in is being appreciated. Today was a day of relaxing and staring at the tank. Tomorrow Rob and I are back at it with getting the light up and then starting the aquascaping. Will surely post more progress tomorrow.

Light

Light

Today we managed to get the light mounted. So far I am really impressed with the fixture itself. Later on I intend to run the power cords through the wall. Here are a few pics:

That tank is awesome!

May I suggest painting the bulkhead fittings with black krylon fusion? Or is it the light making them stand out?

I can't wait to see this tank 'scaped!

That sounds like a good idea. How does the finish look using that krylon fusion? Is it smooth?

Hey guys, we have started the aquascaping now. Its about half way done. I forgot how big of a job it can be... always second guessing yourself. Should have it finished tomorrow.

So you use Krylon Fusion on the flange side of the bulkhead?

Thanks,
Paul

Paul, I didnt think painting the flanges of the bulkheads would be wise, but, after spending some time researching it appears the krylon paint will be fine. I guess we will soon find out!

Pics woll come soon enough guys! Rob and I hit a bit of a stumbling block on monday, however, tuesday was a very productive day of 'scaping. Tonight we will finish and I feel real good about the direction we took. Stay tuned....
