Leveled on all sides, going to do my scape and fill it up today.. will level at 50% and 100% as well.

Had a set back, this weekend while I was filling my tank with the water that was in the stock tank where all my livestock was in. We get a call from my mother in-law and found out my father in-law had a heart attack. So I stopped what I was doing, grabbed a few things and we drove to Kaiser in Vallejo. Thank God, he survived. He was transferred to Kaiser in Santa Clara and will be having triple by pass tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon. And we will be driving back up tomorrow morning. We came back home yesterday night and found most of my acros have died off. Acropora tenuis, Slimers, Bonzai and a few other things are all gone, and a few dead fishes. cause when I left im sure they were sticking out of the water. I left without having any powerheads on and the lights that I had set up were turned off as well. All this does not matter. its a time for prayer and hope my father in-law comes out of surgery ok. I did what I can today and filled up the tank. But its hard to enjoy it while going through a lot of emotional stress.

I hope he pulls through and a speedy recovery. You can replace fish and corals.

A reef loss like that doesn't compare to a severe medical condition that your family has experienced. Wishing the best for your father and I am sure things will come together soon with your tank.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father-in-law and with todays advancement in cardio medicine, you're father-in-law should recover and be at least at 90% or better.

I had my major heart attack when I was just 41 and I'm going on my 20 year anniversay how and hope to go for a other 30 years, with the right diet, excersise, family and of course, my love of reefing.

The main reason I started maintaining reef tanks, is that it is so therapeutic and a major stress relief. Besides my reef tanks, I surround my self with family, my two golden retrievers and parrot.

I'll say a prayer tonight for your father-in-law speedy recovery.

Installed a Float Valve in my Brute 20 Gallon for my ATO reservoir

Was able to fit the reservoir under the cabinet plumbed straight from the RODI unit, was set originally in the back area but the AutoSmart ATO DC cables was not long enough. Also have a 36" sunbrite T10 fixture above the Fuge and a regular 15' plant fixture for light on the right side. Everything from pumps, skimmers lights etc...is controlled via Apex. I also have 2 300w Titanium heaters in the Sump.

Gate Valves made it really easy to adjust, my only problem is the noise from the water trickling over the overflow. the full siphon is whisper quiet.

How tall is your emergency pipe? Mine is maybe a 1/4 below the overflow teeth. Then you can raise the level in the overflow with the gate valve. silence!!!

I didn't cut the emergency pipe, it's still standard height. I put netting after the overflow teeth and it quieted some. I still hear the trickle. Bit very bearable, can't hear unless I'm real close.
