Rocks to Reef: My 2 year progression pics...

I thought you said you were going to learn photoshop? I use lightroom and its super simple. Come by one day I can give you a copy! But your tank is incredible. I wish I had the patience to not frag anything lol.

Great pictures, very inspirational! A sign of stability over the years. May I ask what your contingency plan is for power outages?

Great job JC! You are so right. Patience is the key. So many want growth and success now and try all kinds of snake oils which waste time and so much money. Proper lighting, maintenance, chemistry, and Patience does the job.

Thanks man. Yeah, I try to keep it simple and enjoy growing them out. Don't try more than 1 new thing at time so you know if something goes wrong you are not left guessing. I would add proper food to your list.

lol!! I know, I have been working like a dog lately and haven't found time to learn the basics (and lazyness..lol)....simple white balance will make soooo much difference. Also, it seems that photobucket really screws the pic quality up. Not sure if other 'pic-buckets' are better than photo bucket.

:) Bring a copy to xmas party and I give it a try!!! :)

Thanks Stylo! I have a backup battery for my doser and 1 MP-40. Plus if it is out for extended period of time (hurricane), I have a generator and would just run the basics and have a rollaway A/C if needed to keep cool and/or can freeze salt water and place in sump.

Wow great looking tank!!!!

Thanks polyps!

Looking Very Nice!!!!!...now you just need some fish to house in those colorful sticks

I have a few fish in there...lol. They usually hide when I am shooting pics. Plus I don't have any room for more fish...they will just kill each other. The fish I have now are loosing room to swim as the corals grow out.

If (when) I do a new tank build, I will have much more room to get nice fish.
I will prob do a 225-330g build if I do one.

In case anyone is intersted a nice article written by Tony Vargas was published on RB about my 90g.

just saw the info on your lights and im gonna copy the same thing. Your tank looks beyond great lol i hate my tank a little for not looking like this great job

i am interested in your lighting schedule, as i have a very similar light setup on my 75g

50/50 - 10:00 to 18:00
Blue LED (both) 12:00-10:00
T5 fixture - 13:00-20:30

So simply 10:00 - 22:00 (12 hours total)....with 100% lighting for 6hrs. Now I also cover my tank front and side at night to prevent any indirect light from penetrating (ie, sun rise, tv, lamps, ect) to allow complete resting period for corals with no photostimulation.

Nice tank! Just a few years ago everyone was thinking T5s couldnt keep sps! Youre doing it with only 4 bulbs! What combo are you using?
