rodi replacement filters

I have a 5 stage RODI unit. I haven't changed the filters in a long time and don't remember what they are. Of course there is the RO membrane and DI housing which leaves 3 other filters.

I have 2 Pentek P5 - 5 micron sediment cartridges and 1 Pentek C1 Carbon-Impregnated (didn't mean to get racy) Cellulose cartridge. I imagine some form of these are what's in there now, but maybe not.

What belongs in there. I do not use a ton pf water so they last pretty long.

Any recommendations?

It does depend a bit on what's in your source water, but I have my RO/DI set up like this.....
1 micron prefilter>>.5 micron prefilter>>.5 micron carbon filter.

Reef Central has several sponsors that deal in RO/DI units and have their own forums here. It wouldn't hurt to ask for input from one or a few of them.

In this order:
1 micron sediment filter
0.5 micron carbon
5 mic carbon
RO
DI

Although your well water is not chlorinated, I'm assuming your iron filter is regenerated with pot perm or chlorine - hence the carbon filters.

You shouldn't have much sediment in the RO feedwater after it goes through the softener.
