Well that's it for now.

Thanks buddy. Just got back from a business trip and things look great! A little pale but otherwise polyp extension is better and I'm noticing growth tips everywhere! Wifey did a good job.
Still a long way but the last 6-8 weeks have been GREAT! (Knock on wood)

Thanks! I took some actinic AKA night club pics yesterday that I have to get around to putting in my computer. I'll post them soon. I don't understand why people hate those pics?:D

I love those kind of pics. Post away. Spam the thread with Blue LED shots. :smokin:

Will post more pics soon but was looking at old pics from my "funk". Everyone loves progress shots, here's one. Not Eddie like growth, but not bad for LED...

Suffering slimer.....3 months ago....ouch!

Last weekend, fully recovered and starting to grow. Still small but huge improvement:D

Thanks! My tank is FINALLY settling into a groove I feel. Polyp extension is coming back, and things are growing again. I have noticed that some of the colors are not as intense as they have been, but since things look healthy and are obviously growing, I'm going to let things ride a little longer. I did cut back my lighting intensity when I added my 4th Radion from 65% to 45% and now I'm at 50%. I'm do to bump it up another 5% but I may hold off. I wonder if that has anything to do with the loss of depth of color. It could also be that my tank is running really clean, although I still have some annoying cyano and crud that accumulates on the sand. Rocks are squeaky clean.

In other news, I ordered the materials to build a small rack to hang some T5s off the front of my existing rack. I have my retro kit and bulbs, just have to get around to installing.

Once everything is in, I plan on running all the cables through the wall so I'll have to remove my sump. This is the first mistake I realized I did with my build. I had the cables in the wall come out behind the sump as opposed to just above. I did this originally to hide it so it would look clean, but ended up shooting myself in the foot by burying it. Oh well, I guess its not a huge deal to remove everything. Would give me a good excuse to clean.

does your tank really have a hint of purple like that a lot of people don't like it but I freaking love it

Not at all. Its the LEDs throwing off the white balance. If you saw it in person it looks nothing like that, and I'm too lazy to photochop it, plus my colorblindness makes it difficult to correct colors I can't see:deadhorse1:

You serious!!. Dont mess with stuff like that, that can end up sending a bunch of detritus to the DT.

Are you sure you cant do it, even with some help, without removing sump? Ill help if you need.

I appreciate the offer but it's the only way. I don't mind the sump removal part from a detritus point of view anyway. Every few months I vacuum all the crap out of the sump anyway, won't be different. I don't plan on cleaning the sump, just removing so I can run the wires for my fourth Radion and the T5 retro once I decide I want to keep things that way. I'll probably run with wires exposed for a while just to make sure it's "worth the effort".
