I was told today that they should be landing right at 3 weeks, and we'll be able to ship in approximately 3.5 weeks.
from the pictures it looks like they are externalOriginally posted by achillesheel
are the pumps inside like the minis or exterior of the skimmer? any idea?
that was a concern of mine. I have a 150g/40g sump and when I read that it really put a big doubt in my head that it was too big of a skimmer for me. I'm glad it's being tested on a smaller tank.Originally posted by Jeremy B.
Guys....
There has been some talk on a couple of different forums now about the neck on the medium being 6" diameter at the top, and this skimmer being "too big" for anything under 180gal - 200gal. I can tell you for a fact that is just flat out FALSE! The one or two people claiming this have never seen the skimmer even being ran, other than the 2-3 photos that have been posted of it. The skimmer has been tested running on a system that is 400L, which is just over 100gal, and running extremely well. Stock load is moderate on this particular system as well.
I hope this clears up some of the false statements that have been made about this unit so far.
Thanks,
Jeremy
