Well at least your making progress!!!

I would definitly start a thread. It is agreat place to ask questions and to document your adventure all in one place. I like to go back and read through mine to just see wehre i was a few months back and how far the tank has come in that short amount of time...

Anyway, I QT my fish now, but many of the fish in the display did not go through a QT. I dont ever see any ich, so im not sure if i can say its ich free. As far as coral goes, I do not QT them. I do dip everything in a 5-10 minute CoralRevive BAth before putting it into my system!

What size inlets/outlets do you have on your ocean motion. I have 3" drain holes and 2.5" inlets on the back of my tank but the ocean motion is only 1.5" in and 1" out, yours looks bigger, is yours a special order?

Your tank is gorgeous. How do you keep that many fish looking so nice and plump and yet have no algae growth in your tank? What are you growing in your fuge or is it a monster skimmer that keeps it all so clean. How often do you do water changes? I will look back in your thread to answer some of my questions but I still think you and the others out there with spotless tanks are keeping a secret.

I feed quite a bit but I have a very large Skimmer that helps a lot. I also use filter socks that I change out eveyr 2-3 days!

I do battle algea however, just like most reefers. I get some algea on my sand but i try to stir it every few days to keep the particles that settle in it in suspention. I also use some Zeovit products. Not the stones but the Coral Snow, ZeoBak, and I just started adding some Zeo Aminos that i've been pretty happy with so far!

I do not have a fuge though. I've had them in the past and decided not to use one with this tank. I felt i was adding nutrients to the tank when I had ti becacuse i could't shop vac the detrius out of it!!!

I also do 30 gallon waterchanges every week to 14 days. when it works with my schedule, i do it! Plus i've got a lot of QT tanks that require maintenace as well.

There is no trick besides paying attention to what is going on with your tank and trying to keep things as stable as possible!!!

Thanks Kenny! It will look even better all grown in in a years time! I am very happy with the colors however which I think is most important!!!

As far as angels, I know! But i've already got 5 in there already!

I've got someone already holding a 5" conspic waiting for a QT to free up!

I've got the Black Tang and Rhomboid Trio w/ 2 weeks left!

Then i've got 7 Ventralis coming in thursday which will tie upa QT for a while.

I've got an order in for a pair of Venustus.

Then I was just talking last night w/ my wife about what to add next. The choices are between a Wrought Iron, Bandit Pair, Interruptus, or Resplendent!

As much as I want them all, I have to do one at a time!

We decided to get an Interruptus next unless I can find a resplendent. and then the Wrought!!!

Man, its gonna be incredible once I get them all in there!!!
