Is the pump pulsing? What are the deminsions of your tank? What wave box did you get. Did it come with a controller? If you bought one of the wave box extensions, it requires a controller. Do you have the top of the box out of the water? It takes a bit of time to dial the wave boxes in. There was a bucket of water and eletrical outlets set up so you could test pumps. I tested three other wave boxes for people and two of them worked great. The third did not say it had been reconditioned and the pump did not work. I had waves going pretty quickly on the working ones, but I have used them before.

I got a Tunze 6055 and a Tunze Osmolator. The osmolator was brand new. Just had the older style brackets.

the pump comes on for a very short burst or less than a second and then dies. I tested the pump without the controller and it barely pushes any water at all out the hole in the wavebox. It should pretty much empty the box. With the controller attached it moves water up & down the box about an inch before the pump dies. The box top is out of the water. I did not see the test buckets. :( The setup seems fairly straight forward, and I believe that if the pump was working it would be making waves. I've put up a post in the Tunze section. Hopefully they will help out. I have it set up in my 135g, which is 72" long. This wavebox may be a tad small for this tank, but I don't want to make a huge wave either.

What voltage setting do you have the power supply set at. It sounds like it is set at 12 volts, instead of 24 volts. There is a slide switch on the power supply just slid it to 24 volts. I bought the none working Nano wave box and was able to repair it today. If you want and are in OC/Irvine area your welcome to bring it by and I will try to help you with it. They really are a neat unit.

I didn't bring mine to work with me, but if possible I'd like to see how yours is set up and what the typical wave is I could expect. I work in Irvine at Bake & Irvine Blvd. Are you available this afternoon around 4:30-5:00'ish? Roger from Tunze is working with me to take care of mine. I just want to make sure the unit I have is really not doing what I believe and Roger said it should be doing.
