SDMAS ID Resouce Error

The data on sdmas is a direct site pull from aims (as aims was defunct) whatever content is on aims, was brought over to sdmas if it's not there now, it wasn't on the old site

I'm happy to take corrections and updates. If there turns out to be enough interest, I'm considering adding discussion and community-uploaded-photos tabs to each species. Drop me an email anytime: dandyloon ... at ... gmail dot com

I was using AIMS for well over a year (even when their navigation was not functional and the site appeared to be down). While moving around the site was a pain, I can't remember coming across incomplete data. That is my point exactly. In the transfer, it looks like some of the information was lost. There are also additional photos not from Veron or AIMS used on SDMAS's database, so it isn't just a direct copy of the old database.

Trey, do you personally have the ability to edit the pages?
Someone with a hardcopy of Veron's books could provide the corrections. I don't own the books but have access to them if no one else helps out.

The site is (as close as possible) a simple copy of the aims site. Any errors were just problems with the transfer. Let me know which pages have problems and I'll correct them.

Qualified editors wanted! There are a few newly-named or unrecognized-by-Veron species, such as Acropora spathulata, that would be great to add if anyone has original photos and text to contribute. More photos and text for existing species would be appreciated as well.
