Keep up the pics ;)

Lol... same as any other tank... you always would love more room. I just got mine up and running so I am probably not the BEST person to ask but I would have loved to gone wider. I am now at 24x24x10. If I had the room I could see easily a 36x36x12 being in my future. One thing I will say though is I will never go deep again.

^^^ awesome tank. Very 'natural' looking.

(even if I had to hit the mute button to watch the video) :D

All these shallows reefs had me looking, and on GC website they have a 36*37*18 for $250 boy is this tempting.

Very tempting.....indeed...

What would you go with for lighting on this tank? $250 is the base price + add on starfire and cost to pick up....might bring you to $500 which is still great.

My Shallow Reef

My Shallow Reef

This is my shallow reef. It is 24"x24"x12" with a wall to wall overflow in blue. It is built from 3/8" acrylic and is plumbed through the bottom to eliminate the need of powerheads for the ultra clean look. Light is a 250 watt 12K Reeflux powerd by a dimmable coralvue electronic ballast. The light is housed in a LumenBright mini pendant on a custom bracket. The sump is a custom built unit with one filter sock, Reef Octopus Skimmer, refugium and a mag 1800 return pump. All electrical is built in to cabinet with switches for return pump and skimmer. The cabinet is also custom with extra wide 'leaning ledge' on three side (because I like to lean and look close). Livestock is a mix of softies and LPS along with a few fish. Thanks for looking.
