Beautiful tank.

But I interpreted the purpose of this thread was to show tanks that do not use bacterial driven systems. I am fully aware that it's not clear, since the title says "non Zeovit + similar."

Sahin please correct me if I'm wrong.

I am sorry for posting,I did interpreted this the wrong way.

there have been a few who posted like that, which can be misleading to the thread title, but who doesnt like seeing them anyway?!?!? lol, NOT ME! ;)

but it would be nice to follow thread title...

It would be good if we can keep this thread to T5 tanks with NO carbon driven bacterial systems. I dont mind those who have posted already, but I would like to keep the collection of tanks posted here as described by the title.

Thank you.

Please share photos of your T5 lit SPS tanks which are run without Zeovit etc.
I would like to see what results are achievable - primarily coral colour and growth with T5's only whilst not resorting to dosing/zeovit/vodka driven systems.
Thanks.

This threads title-"Show off you T5 run (non Zeovit + similar) SPS tank please"

So I think my tank meets the restrictions described by the OP.

I set this tank up following the KISS method. I have never run a Zeovit or other system (i.e. a supplement regime that involves a bacteria reactor) I also have never used vodka... But in the past I did try dosing prodibo bacteria and then at one point I dosed NB7 (bacteria only)... I have since stopped "regularly" dosing all forms of bacteria. I will add a couple drops of (leftover) NB7 every other month or so, but by all means this is not a "carbon driven bacteria system".

Honestly, When this tank was set up, I thought it would be a "carbon driven bacteria system" but after trying it for a bit (Probido then NB7) it became apparent that the dosing regiment did not significantly benefit my system.

Wow Tucker, that is a very beautiful and extremely clean looking system. I really like the look.

Were your corals colourful from the start or did they brown at first and then slowly colour up?

BTW, Tucker; thats very beautiful and skillful photography. :)

Thanks sahin!
I have never had a coral turn brown in this tank. I think that is due to the fact that, all but one of my corals were grown form frags (under 2") that were traded or bought from fellow reefers (mainly people here on RC) the one coral that was not grown from a frag was also bought from a fellow reefer. I have no wild caught corals.

I have noticed better coloration over time with many of my corals, but the difference has been fairly subtle.

Boodlefish, that sunset milli has me drooling over here, i want one so bad, and yours is jus "lights out" awesome... great tank, very good work my friend!
