Forest Fire Digi. Originally obtained from Landlord (hes probably lurking here somewhere). I don't think this one is from any "LE" source, although, I haven't seen a nicer looking one.

Wow I've never seen anything like that!

In fact, I've never seen a lot of these!

How do you all get your rainbow montis to develop such a blue base? I suppose mine could still be recovering from poor handling, as it was completely brown and near dead when I purchased it. But, I've had it for maybe two months now and the polyps have been colorful for awhile. The base is light baby blue at best.

This is one of my favorite montis because of the unique 'half' polyps it has. This is from the mother colony I got the frag from and in 2-3 months has more than quadrupled!

I really need to get a rainbow monti too....I've got superman, sunset, and the hologram which is pictured.

I don't yet have any frags as I just got the frag 3-4 months ago. Its grown rather quickly and I should be able to frag in 1-2 months and let grow out. Keep in touch and I can work out something. My frag was a purple flesh with the blue half polyps but the further it spreads the more the purple turns green.

this ones love/hate.

yes its body is brown but is really quite unique. Unknown species i have always called the metal polyp monti. the pic did not quite capture the purple tips or the half silver in the polyps. The close up certainly could be clearer.

Awesome I prefer to trade as well and have tons of nice sps. Let me know when you frag and we can trade a few pieces.

The growing edge of the rainbow monti will be white/light blue since it's growing. Over time the blue will fill in, but ridges will still be whitish. At least that's my experience.
