Slowly my tank has been taken over by RBT's

Well I have been away from here for quite some time. During my absence my tank has become a breeding ground for RBT anemone's. Here is a before and some after pics. Needless to say my clown fish (which are mated and breeding every 12-16 days) are the rulers of it now.

Before: 9-28-2008 when I lost power for 2 weeks

Currently in the process of removing bubble algae and cleaning up the sand bed.
I have a total of 15 RBTA in the tank right now and they started as one.

Thats the only bad/good thing about BTA's. Removing BTA's isn't that hard as long as you do it slowly and don't tear the foot. You see bubble tips...I see money

i am starting to experience that aswell. Bought one rbt a year ago, and now i have 6. Kind of anoying

I see money too. Im going to try to start harvesting them soon. Only prices are down on them right now... :sad1:

Holy Nems Batman! That's a lot of Nems. Bet your clowns can't complain they don't have a nem they like!

Right
The problem im having in wanting to start removing them is my clowns host in all of them. They have a daily routine of moving from one to the next making sure to go to them all before lights out.

If you don't get a handle on this now, you will eventually have a RBTA species tank. I know, I once had a mixed reef like you...

And some of us only dream of our BTA's taking over the tank. :D

I had a mini reef 29g that started off with one bulb tip. 3 years later it was one giant bulb tip (about 8 total) when they all opened up. The maroon clown loved it.

Like other mentioned time to start swelling.

Probably green star polyps (GSP). Another weed type coral. Before my bryopsis breakout I had half my 75 covered in it.

The green bushy stuff is GSP. that started as a 2" rock. and now coveres most of the right side. I dont mind it that much. Kinda reminds me of a healthy lawn. But beware if not tended to it will take over ererything.

This reminds me of the old shampoo commercial... They tell two friends, and they tell two friends ...

My RBTA split today. Since I only had the one RBTA and the one GBTA, I was happy. My coral are in a different tank.
