So do you have any changes or upgrades planned for your reef this year?

Upgrading my 20H to a 29g with newer T5 fixture (thanks Todd!) so that my gorgonians have more room.

Just changed my 'scape in my 20L - removed some rock and have more open space on the sand now. Also just changed the substrate in my 3g nano on my desk - looks much better. I will be replacing the substrate in my 10g the same way.

Always something to do with 5 nanos at home and 2 at work!

Zooman72 that’s allot of tanks two is enough for me lol. I just made some of the same changes in my tank. Went away from the bare bottom with some new substrate and total restack of the live rock on the left side and ended up taking out about 25 lbs and putting it in the sump. Like I said above all to make room for more corals lol.

I'm finally getting around to setting up my 120 - does that count?
I had to finish a bathroom, a kitchen, and a dining room before I could begin...

My upgrade is on hold and has been.Just been rethinking it a bit. While building parts slowly that Im going to use to make the transfer less troublesome.

For the most part I try to keep my tank as effcient as I can.Designing a sump with this in mind,Im looking at getting away from GFO.Also, utilizing gravity to feed a carbon reactor.
The main goal is to utilize something more efficient than chateomopha. So far a modified ats is what seams like it could fit the bill. The challenge is compounded by excluding a basement sump ,so I need to be able to fit everything under my stand and have access.I hate it all clutered where you cant work on things.

Goal anyway.

Here's what I'm working on right now... :)

Thanks guys. Believe it or not, it's a 34G Solana with a JWW Elos-Style stand. Going to attempt SPS with a single A.I. LED fixture and lots of gadgets for my tinkering needs. I'll post a thread once I get it up and running, if that ever happens! :crazy1:

Looking foward to this one sounds like it's going to be a pretty interesting project.

Gonna change up my lighting. I've been looking at a few different led fixtures and some led light bars. Have to wait until I go back to work and catch up before I can pull the trigger..

I will start a picture-intensive build thread at some point too - I decided to make a fish room out of an old 5' x 6' laundry closet. It already has plumbing, power, and is 4 feet away from the tank.
