That vodka would be fine. Although, you could use the really cheap stuff instead and save some money. Leave the good vodka for yourself.

i cant find cheapest vodka at hong kong supermarket , the cheapest one is around USD $ 10 i buy this vodka is around USD $ 20 ,
so i select this vodka is safe , bez i dont know what kind of vodka is straight vodka can dosing in RT.
USD $ 20 vodka is cheaper than zeovit elements.
next time i shall be find the cheaper vodka dosing :lol:

I am finally up and running 6+ months in the making (100gal), and have used prodibio biodigest 3 times now (1st day up, a couple days later, and today) and marine bioptim with the second dose of biodigest and today. I also got a little carried away and also dosed prodibio reefbooster in between the rest.
Well I like the daily dosing idea of vodka+ MB-7 and associated AA's would you recommend I switch? or continue through my stock of prodibio?
if i stay with prodibio when if ever do i start with the vodka?

Finish up your Prodibio. When I was using it I was dosing Biodigest every two weeks and Bioptim every week. once in a while I would dose in some reef booster.
The Bioptim would need to be discontinued if you were to start up vodka. I say just finish up what you have and then switch over to MB7/vodka if that is what you want to do.

so when i run out of Bioptim (like 2 to 3 weeks) i start up with vodka? i less Bioptim then any thing else, and will run out of it first.
Sunny... are you still running just Blue Plus and Aquablue bulbs?
I replaced all of my bulbs awhile ago and am currently running 4 blue plus, 1 super actinic, 1 fiji purple and one Aquablue...I am NOT happy with the color of my tank AT ALL!!! Also, some of my best colored corals have started to dull, for lack of a better word... not really browning, but their color is no where near as vivid as it has been...
what in your opinion should I change about my bulbs...I am not sure if I like the fiji purple or not...what do you think could be "DULLING" the colors of my corals and what bulbs would you change??
your tank is so amazing... I really want to get my colors back and even make them better..

I am still running a combo of ATI Blue+s and Aquablues. Your current combo would no doubt look bad. I run 4xBlue+ and 3xAquablue Special, and something like that may be what you are looking for.
I say replace the Fiji Purple and Actinic for additional Aquablue Specials. That should do the trick.

You mentioned about the removing the detritus buildup in a sump tank with live rocks. How do you control the detritus in your main tank that is under your live rocks? I picked up a few random live rocks in my main tank and couldnt believe all the detritus that has built up over the months. Obviously I can not remove all my live rocks and clean all the detritus underneath it.

you tank is just mind blowing love it. I have been dosing the Vodka and Mb7 in my tank and I kid you not the water is crystal clear and my Sps are for the first time glow with color. I am up to .8 ml in my tank of Vodka and 4 drops of Mb7 and everything looks great. My N is .25 and my P is 0.1 to 0.3 I have been testing on Saturdays so this week will be my second test after the dosing started. Should I test more or is once a week good enough?
