SPS Dominated 47G Reef

Very sorry to hear, Sahin.
I hope the next round of tests give good news..

Latest mobile phone??? What lies has Biggles been feeding poor Kevin?? Looks like a 2 buck Star Treck knock off... Kevin deserves better!!

I'm sure i speak for all your mates here Sahin when i say we all wish you the very best my friend. Stay positive and concentrate on your health and family, the bloody pics can wait.

I yelled out the back to Kevin " Sahin has a pic of you holding that phone you stole from the neighbors ". You might want to lock the doors and windows at night from this point on Sahin, i think he's pretty filthy with you mate..........

+1, all the best Sahin!

I suppose I should post a build thread so you jokers can make fun of my sticks. It's still fairly young...

This hobby was an escape from me through some very tough times as well.

But I still took pics!!!!!!!! LOL I' just breaking chops :) Wish you only the best.

OK...let me explain...

I've had a nerve Tumour for the the past couple of years...its managed by medication to suppress the pain. I am lucky that its not malignant. However I was told by Doctors that I may get more...

A few weeks ago, I noticed a small lump on my left wrist... :sad1: Have an MRI scan coming up in 3 weeks...

Honestly, I was planning to post a video showing the whole tank etc...before I noticed the new lump I asked my brother to come round and do some recordings...we did some recordings and was planning to finish off and then upload etc...

I am glad that other than the tank needing daily feeding I dont need to do much else...thank god for all the automation on my tank.

When things are a little less stressful, I will be happy to share some updated photos and the clips my bro recorded.

I come online a lot lately because I love the hobby and its a way of an escape from everything else.

I dont visit the UK forum...I like this forum and the community here...Guys like Biggles, Bello and the others whose threads I follow etc.

So I am sorry I havent come up with the goods...I wasnt being a jerk

Apologies for the rather depressing post. :hmm2:

So...in other news...

Kevin sent me this photo of himself...apparently Biggles bought him the latest mobile phone...:lmao:

I had to come out of hiding to wish you the best, brother. I'm sorry that you are going through that.

The stuff I am caught up on is looking boss, Sahin.

PS. I'm still alive and so are the fish/corals.

That really sucks, Sahin :(.

Hope everything comes out alright, and definitely Thank God for the automation! Not that the tank is a massive priority where health is concerned, but at least you don't have to worry about something that you obviously love doing.

BTW, after reading your post, I immediately called up your Mailman, and asked him to return the "Tease" mug :p. No more FTS insults from me.......for a while :p

From the depths of my heart i wish the tests will come up allright sahin.
Keep smiling buddy, wear your "%$6&ing nerve tumour i'll kick your @#" suit and we will keep teasing each other, having small getaways from the things that break our @#$!

Sorry for my bad language:)

Sahin,

I just wanted you to know that your contribution is most thoroughly enjoyed here. Not to mention your aquarium in particular. :) I sincerely hope the best for you and your MRI. RC has been a great escape for me and my fascination with reef keeping throughout the years. I agree that this is a great community, right?!?!

Thanks everyone for all the kind words, appreciate it.

I have had a few frags sitting on the tank bottom for a few weeks now...need to get them mounted. Damn snails pushed a milli frag right against my Meteor Shower Cyphastrea...Of course Milli's being one of the strongest SPS out there burnt a hole on my Cyphastrea. :angryfire:

My Green Chromis have turned into such Jerks lately...every feeding time they go nuts when they see me getting the food ready...before I even have a chance to use the Turkey Baster to squirt some food into the tank, they come up right against the front glass and splash/jump (I dont know what they do exactly) but they cause water to splash on my face and onto the floor! :angryfire: This has been going on for at least 2 months or more.

Seriously those jerks need a slap or something...And they've never jumped out the tank or anything...but they've learnt this dumb stunt.

I would have starved them for a day or two to teach them a lesson, but cant do that because of the other fish. Arrrgggh! :angryfire:

I know how you feel my friend ived been fighting the pain for 4 years now from my 4 herniated disc and 2 protrusion because of a drunk driver...I wish you well and hope everything goes well..

When I had anthias they'd go nuts like that..........The male Bartlett jumped right over my shoulder once when I was feeding:lol:

I know a guy with a 3 foot Clown grouper that tries to splash water on him if he's working on something outside near the tank...........like saying pay attenton to me and feed me!

Be well my friend.........I appreciate all your contributions across the reef web communities.

Its the aussie influence. If it isnt the 'roos eating SSC's, the koalas are stealing Acropora and generally behave badly :(

Wishing u the best too sahin!

Thanks guys. Appreciate the words.

Ed, some of the animals we keep are far more intelligent than we perhaps think...my Chromis only do pull that stunt at feeding times...and ONLY at me. :headwalls:

What's with all the Koala pictures? Am I missing something?
See below.

Yup. Biggles is Australian you see...and he has a pet Koala named Kevin...Read his journal and you will see lots more Koala pics.

I think there is a funny Koala pic in Acronic's journal as well...and his name happens to also be Kevin!
