Hey Todd!!!

I am heading out to her place this Friday! If you would like I could pick up your coral for you and could drop it off for you on my way back home?

I owe you at least that! (Smiling) I'm an awful fish friend!

And I am the evil one that got the other Blue Tip Tenius! Sorry! LOL

Thanks, that would be great, thanks a lot.

And might let you take a frag or two from my tanks, might have a digi that is red enough for you.

Sure thing Todd. I hope you will love it!

Here are some pictures of pieces I can add to your Shades of Fall/Pink Lemonade.

Lokani:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/nullcable/2303313507/" title="lokani 2.21.08 by nullcable, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2273/2303313507_c7976ea96b.jpg" width="500" height="333" alt="lokani 2.21.08" /></a>

Green w/ blue tips (possible Kimbeensis?) Maybe you would like this coloration instead of the tenius?

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/nullcable/2289344982/" title="blue tip tenius by nullcable, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2040/2289344982_47f5ee7d54_o.jpg" width="640" height="426" alt="blue tip tenius" /></a>

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/nullcable/2304119126/" title="blue tip by nullcable, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3010/2304119126_63546376aa_o.jpg" width="640" height="426" alt="blue tip" /></a>

Here is an older picture of a blue tort. Since this pic, it has gotten a little bit of greenish at the base. If you would like a current photo, I can provide one.

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/nullcable/2221387978/" title="blue tort by nullcable, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2346/2221387978_72a4cf580f_o.jpg" width="640" height="426" alt="blue tort" /></a>

Tri-color valida. I wish I can show the top down. It's got lime green body. Maybe I will try and do that tomorrow, if you are interested.

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/nullcable/2225856715/" title="tri color valida colony by nullcable, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2037/2225856715_ab497c6088_o.jpg" width="640" height="426" alt="tri color valida colony" /></a>

Ugh, I can't understand why some of these are super blue. Here is a fuzzy tri-color(?) The first pic is in my tank, then w/flash in a different system so you can get a better idea of color. Under 400w they turn minty green body with blue tips. Pretty!

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/nullcable/2396946597/" title="tri color fuzzy by nullcable, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3272/2396946597_1746a1d66e.jpg" width="461" height="500" alt="tri color fuzzy" /></a>

under high light:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/nullcable/2397789762/" title="tri color #4 higher light 1.2.08 by nullcable, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2285/2397789762_970d3fec0e_o.jpg" width="400" height="568" alt="tri color #4 higher light 1.2.08" /></a>

This is too blue. It's blue polyps with a tan base here. In higher light the base will be cream with hints of green, and keep the blue polyps.

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/nullcable/2396946591/" title="kosurini 4.7.08 by nullcable, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2061/2396946591_d5bae51169.jpg" width="500" height="437" alt="kosurini 4.7.08" /></a>

Broke1: The large frag is the one pictured in the center of the pictures. You will see there are 3-4 small branches....they are branching from 1 base. The piece is between 1 1/2-2" total height, plus the 4 branches. I remember you had mentioned somewhere about tracing lineage. This piece was purchased from Mingwei at Atlantis about 1 year ago. At that time is was named "Shades of Fall", which I am to understand is now called "Pink Lemonade". There is another release that is now called Shades of Fall. Please correct if this is wrong.

Please note, these are not for sale. The only pieces were what was mentioned in the first post.

Todd: Please pick 2 from the above. I'm sorry they won't be big cuttings, but I hope it will soften the blow.

Great pictures Sugar,

The Lokani and the possible Kimbeensis would be great if that is alright. Just let me know how much and I will make sure that Rose/ Jennifer61577 gives it to you. ;) (( actually not joking, since I will pay here back when she drops them off ))

Thanks a lot.

I didn't see this when I posted, but that works out perfectly, and the two I picked would be great, thanks so much.

And at least now I know what my tri-color colony is called, that is my oldest piece, at least 4 years old and very large (( would be larger if I wouldn't break off the tips all the time ))

Great. And I will for sure let you know, and you will get plenty of pictures. Now I have to decide which tank they are going into. ;)

Awesome Todd!

I'm not one to take a frag from a friend when I have been an awful friend... Butttt... I really would like a little itty bitty piece of something red? Maybe the size of a fingernail? I'm not that particular! haha... You know that!

Once I coordinate a time with Kathy I'll let you know!

Rose... (Real Name)

A.K.A. Jennifer61577

LOL You know that you will get a frag that is bigger then that.

Do you still have my number?

And thanks so much for dropping this off for me.

(Grinning)... I could indeed hunt down your number but it would most certainly be faster if you sent it to me again. It was three or four cell phones ago! (Snickering) They don't seem to like me... Or maybe it's because I drop them so often?

You and size... First it was the "XL" coral... Next is? hehe

Seriously though...

I can't wait to see how your tanks look! I know you have been getting some really nice stuff and I'm sure they look great!

I wish I could tell you exactly when the name changed, but this coral is not an easy one to keep track of. To complicate things even more, this one seems to change it's color and even it's growth form quite a bit from system to system.

They now have gone and reused the name again.
ATL Shades of Fall acro Nasuta
This is the one they have now considered the Shades of Fall

The Original Pink Lemonade
(Formerly known as Shades of Fall Acro)
Now referred to as the PL.

"NEW"ATL Vanuatu Pink Lemonade
So now there is another PL to make it even harder.

Your growth form actually looks alot like the Shades of Fall, but I as well as I have tried to keep track of these I really can't tell you which one you have.

If you look in this thread down to Emsters side by side pictures, my PL has taken on a growth form similar to his, but others get a slightly different branch shape.

http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1359535

If yours is indeed the Shades of Fall, I will take it. If it the PL formally known as the Shades of Fall, that piece I already have.

Beautiful corals none the less.

Hahhaa....broke, I'm with you. I've been following that thread too. I wish someone would verify what date the name change occured.

I purchased approx. 1 year ago, so between 03-06 of 2007. It was sold as Shades of Fall and was in the top right hand corner of their frag page.

So, depending on the name change, this could be the very last pieces that were Shades of Fall known now as Pink Lemonade......or one of the first that were newly named Shades of Fall.

Hahhaa...hope that clears it all up.

I will post pictures after work tonight of where Todd's piece is coming from, maybe you can get a better idea.

Todd, you have a very nice tank! Love your Haddoni!

Broke: I hope these comments and pics help you to decide which I have.

I remember also, after I purchased the frag....they didn't offer Shades of Fall anymore. I remember this because I was surprised. Then I saw it back on the site. Could this be when it changed over? If so, then I must have the Pink Lemonade (formerly known as Shades).

Well, here goes. Again, I had a hard time taking pictures so I included different conditions.

This is top down shot with ambient light:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/nullcable/2398374203/" title="shades of fall top down shot by nullcable, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3272/2398374203_cf5dd1f397_o.jpg" width="607" height="600" alt="shades of fall top down shot" /></a>

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/nullcable/2398374211/" title="shades of fall top down #2 by nullcable, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2267/2398374211_e5388aaf43.jpg" width="500" height="389" alt="shades of fall top down #2" /></a>

Then with flash and no light:
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/nullcable/2398374185/" title="shades of fall flash by nullcable, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2205/2398374185_94a9d2f403.jpg" width="500" height="367" alt="shades of fall flash" /></a>

Then, the mother full front shot with light. This is to see the growth pattern. I can't take the picture to show the right color! So annoying.

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/nullcable/2398374193/" title="shades of fall mother by nullcable, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2127/2398374193_3db4a21ac7.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="shades of fall mother" /></a>

Todd: Your piece is the leftmost long branch that has multiple small ones coming out from there. I hope you like it.

I do like it, thanks a lot.

And I know your pain about trying to get pictures to show the right color, that is forcing me to think about getting a new camera with a manual white balance.
