Looks good as a first sketch up. I can't even remeber how many sketches I went through before I decided on my final design.
Scott may though, as we had conversations about each and every one of them
A few things:
- Ball Valves (return line... just in case you need it, drain line... control/divert flow to fuge)
- I wouldn't drill your sump, just have the intake pipe empty beneath the water in the skimmer section.
- I would use a 90 degree output on the return in the tank. My 45 degree blew sand all over, and forced me to switch to the 90.
- Any particular reason for the "step down" to the fuge? Elbows create bubbles and noise.
- Along those lines, I would use 45 degree elbows instead of 90's wherever you can.
