Stan, the pumps i use in the video was the 6261 but i will use all 4 tunze 6201 pumps when i setup the tank. You could achieve similar result with couple 6205 but it will put more stress onto the holder... The wave generated by couple streams will be more oscillating instead of uniform wave like the wavebox

OK thanks, I would assume that oscillating wave would be more natural/better. The mounting should be no big deal I am making a custom mount, and using the external waveboxes you sent me.

Did i sent you any ext wavebox? hmmmm, I am getting old

You actually sent me 4 of them, down to Texas, it was right before your daughter was born so you had a lot on your mind....

Steve,

my tank has been up for several years. it has two closed loops that I want to take off-line and use the external wave boxes you sent me. I am waiting to get my new tunze 6205's to make the modifications.

Well Steve, late to the game but I am here. So glad to see that wave tank getting set up as I am very interested in the outcome. And your stand is really sweet. That is another area I am interested in, especially if you used any sort of calculations to arrive at the design.

Where I live there is a lot of military (squids, etc.) and sometimes I really wonder how these families stay together and don't go off the deep end. Close friend got a promo down to Kali, had to sell his beautiful house here, buy there, and 3 years later, they are back again.

Jon, welcome to my thread. Finally i get the solid word and decide to set up the tank. But i have to move into my new place first. As for the new home, i have to wait another month before i can move in because the owner decided to renovate the house first.

As for the stand which is the longest process due to my crazy idea of removable legs and all the testing which my welder has to do making sure the stand capable to handle large wave without shifting back and forth. We decided to over build the stand to stay on the safe side. After the stand being put together my builder put a large dumpster container on top fully of heavy metal stuff inside to see if the stand able to handle the weight and have his worker try to push it back and forth to see if it going to shift. Finally he decided to add more brace for extra support. The whole process take more than 2 months. The finally product turned out to be super strong also super heavy :D

As for being in the military you HAVE to love what you doing or else you won't last for more than 4 years. I have been moving around for 3 times in the past 12 years which i kinda get used to it :D.

Nice Tunze collection! I'm a little envious!

Well not of the coral fix, but you get the idea...

I love coral fix tho. It work well for mounting coral as well as aquascaping. It doesn't make much mess like D-D stuff.

I need to find a place for tunze rehab.. LOL
