Ramzy, you are such a great guy. I really appreciated but i don't think anything will go wrong with the tank. I will have the metal brace on the tank soon...

My worse nightmare finally come and i have to find the way to deal with it. Wife just call and let me know all four corner of my tank on the brace has been CRACKED. the middle of my tank is bow up to 1/2". I am currently away from home. I have call my friend who is specialize in sheet metal fabrication and ask him to build me a brace for the top. I will ask him to build me a top brace with thick metal to keep the tank together in the mean time. I will deal with the company who build my tank as soon as i get back.

How many lbs of pressure do you think is pushing on each side. Can people actually push that back in to install the brace. Thats a lot of pressure, might want to rent an elephant. Sorry to hear...

Do you think its possible to drain half of the tank into the sump and rent some giant clamps and push the tank together then apply the weld on.

I will drain 3/4 of the tank, apply the brace then try to patch them with another piece of acrylic. As for ATA, i will talk to them on Wed. I want to talk to the guy face to face....

Guys, thank you. I don't have picture of the crack at this time. I will work on it during the holiday. The reason that cause the brace to crack because the drill the hole too close to the edge approx 3/4". The crack starting from the hole to the edge of the brace not toward the tank corner. But i will give them hard time just for doing such thing. I will have my friend build the top brace out of 3x3x3/8 angles stainless steel to put over the top. Once the brace installed the tank should go back to normal.
