Steve, what a beautiful adaptation you have created. I can't wait to get mine up and running, although I've gotta admit, I now regret purchasing the Wavy Sea unit. It's gotten a lot of bad press lately with respect to poor reliability and even worse customer service.

They need english translator IMO... Jay Kim is a PITA to talk to whenever you have any problem

Ken, just let me know the size, i will make one or two for you... The parts permanently glued together...
Steve, the drain line is 2" but inside my overflow box is only 7" x 5" not a lot of room. Do you think that design will fit?

Ken, the largest part of the standpipe is 3"... I will do some shopping at lowe's this weekend. I will pick up the part and put it together for you. I will take picture during progress so RC members have better idea how to get it done... Someone gonna hate me for this :D but i don't think the durso cost $27 plus shipping plux tax either...

Sounds like it will fit! Does it have to be glued together?

The best I came up with is a reduced in size, sawed off Durso. I didn't like making a 2" drain a 1" drain.

Ken, i can prep everything ready for you and when you come over with the tube we can glue them together. They have to be clued together. There is no reason to reduce 2" drain to 1" :D. When do you want to meet?

I'm not free until Sunday, but anytime after that is fine too. I want to see the Tunze mounts in person :) I remember you describing them to me last time and they look awesome.

Sunday is good with me Ken. Just bring your pipe over and i will hook it up. It will not take more than 10mins to get done.

I am working on a large Fluidized reactor and Large Kalk reactor... Not sure if i want to use the stir method or the circulation method...

Hello Sunny, i am not sure what you mean by diagram of the ext wave box being use. The external operate the same way with the internal except it is sitting outside of the tank. The wave controller 6091 pulse in fast on and off interval to generate wave. The box will automatically fill up during off cycle through the outlet of the pump. There is no other hole on the wavebox except for the outlet. Please let me know if you have anymore question. BTW, you can use two 6100 for the wabox without any problem...Thanks

ooohhh...i need to see them tunze holders in action...anymore of those available ?

Hello Foselone, i don't have anymore of the tunze holder. John from advance acrylic brought me 8 of them but they all either being use in my aquarium or i sent them to friends... IMO the tunze holder are much stabled compare to similar design due to the thickness of the box and the solid rod... You should contact John as he massed produce them...

Hi steve

Cos from your pictures i cant see any water entering to the exernal wavebox. therefore i was wonder is it the water enters through the opening for the outlet which is 50mm wide.

i am using 7095 to control the waves. would it be better if i place the external box on the both end of the tank or both tunze on one side of the tank or one the tunze in the external box while the other in the main tank?

In your opinon which would be better ?

Sunny, without the exact dimension of your future tank, i can't make any recommendation. But i prefer two tunze on the same side....

Nice tank Steve. Very impressive…can’t wait to see your new home, new baby and new tank. You’ll be a busy man. Hope everything is going fine in CO.

Looking good Steve. On the holders, can you have the cords go up through the bulkheads to clean it up a bit?

Also, you are going to have 4 - 6025s on the corners and then 4 more tunzes in the external wave box? What model will you use for those indise the wave box?

I was wondering the same thing. I wanted to try something like that with the Tunze holder when i get them. Only porblem I see with that is fitting the little black box through the bulkhead without cutting/splicing the cable. Than maintenance on the Tunze would be a pain unless you used a quick disconnect on the splice.

Thanks bro, I will be very busy with the new baby and new home but the tank will not be up till everything settled. I am voluntarily to delay my tank setup date to 6 months or a year after my baby arrived.
