Stream 6000 Intake Screen?

I have a stream 6000 in my 120 AGA mounted on the rear of the tank. It is in the upper middle about 6 inches down from the waterline aimed at the front glass (also have 2 sea swirls in the rear corners).

I recently acquired an anemone (RBTA) and have heard horror stories about them getting into the intakes of powerheads.

Several people have wrapped the intakes with a plastic mesh screen material to prevent this. Another suggestion (LFS) for the Tunze was to remove the intake cover and replace it with a chunk of porous foam to protect it.

My question is what would Tunze recommend doing to the intake to prevent this potential accident without risking damage to the pump?

Nevermind... found this thread. Would a mesh screen around the stream not be a good idea?

It will reduce flow quite abit I think, you will need to keep it clean.
