Close Loop Planning

Close Loop Planning

Actually i decided to make this tank as close loop.
I will make Five holes in back wall. One at the lower side of the glass which will suck the water and four holes near to the over flow box, which will return the water randomly using 4 way ocean motion..... Initially I made plan to use tunze but I changed my mind and decided to go for close loop.

3D's not complete yet. once ready i will post them here....

4 ways OM vs Sea Swirl

4 ways OM vs Sea Swirl

Guys another question.....

I am thinking to use Aquarium Currents Sea Swirl instead of using 4 way ocean motion for CL. but the problem is you have to fix it at the top of the tank, so again chance of visibility of plumbings and equipments.

any thought?

should I go for CL 4 outlet with 4 ways ocean motion or CL with 2 outlet with Sea Swirl at the top of the tank?

I think using Sea Swirl is a good idea, but it is still about what you want.

A 4 way Oceansmotions device will work very well if you can track one down.
If you are looking for an alternative, you could use several DC pumps with speed control. Each pump can surge on and off to make alternating water current. An OM 4 way does the same thing with just one pump. Of course you can always have both.

Abyzz, Blue Eco, & Waveline are the three DC pumps on the market (listed in order of price, high to low).

i find it hard to believe you can run a skimmer for your tank @ 13 watts only? SK202 ??

For customer svc, hard to beat coralvue.

you might want to broaden the pool/options for your skimmer selection.

tank concept looks great, loving it.

Actually in my last system. I ordered Reef Octopus and other guy ordered ATI. Really, ATI fail to do it work.
