Tell me about this Clown

I just picked up a Tomato Clown, probably A. melanopus. It looks like the Fiji version according to Joyce Wilkerson's book. He came with extra stripes in the center even though he is at about 2". Does anyone else have a Fiji version of the Tomato clown?

Yes my tomatos are from Fiji. However I think the stripe will fade on yours.Looks like he just didnt grow out of his stripe as fast other tomatos do.

Heres a pics of mine!:

These are my best pics and my most "famous" ones to...lol

Ya I figured thats where you got it.Ive had many tomatos with most of their markings like that fading out over time.I may be wrong but mabey someone will back me up on this.

In that pic you can already see the scales starting to turn red on the white stripe!

yes that is nothing unusual. A. Frenatus clowns have a second stripe that they lose when they mature. I am shocked that a reputable dealer like bluezoo tried to pass this off as something rare and unusual.

I found BZA's statement kind of odd too. If you look around in this picture you'll see I've got many Tomato's at 9 months old that have remnants of the stripes
