That Fish Place/NCPARS Winter Event

I'm kinda new to the area and don't know a whole lot about the events you guys hold around here. I'm not sure if I wanna pay for a club membership yet but I'm interested in the swap. Do I need to pre-register or anything for the swap or just show up and pay my $10 to get in? Any other info on it for ignorant nubs like me would be good too tyvm.

Thanks for the info. I thought as much but I remember seeing something about registering and just wanted to make sure I don't miss out.

You don't have to be a member to win prizes and you don't have to register in advance to attend....

Schoch..the registration you heard about is at FragSwapper.com. Normally clubs want you to register so they know how many people are coming to plan on food and space, etc. but when the swaps are at TFP the non-pre-registered foot traffic is pretty insane so you will not be the only one not pre-registering. You can also pre-pay at the NCPARS.org website. I will be doing both this just to avoid the line. :)

You do however need to preregister on FragSwapper.com if you want to have somebody reserve a specific coral for you at the swap (unless you email them). Some frags are plentiful, but some sell out fast and some folks don't frag anything that's not already reserved so they don't have to take anything home with them...but again..at TFP the foot traffic is insane so there will be PLENTY of unreserved frags there as well.

See you there.

Is table numbers being assigned for the people bringing tanks? Sorry if I missed this.

Tables will be assigned the day of the event. We were unable to set up reservations for this swap because of the logistics of the event changing as the attendence grows. There should be plenty of room unless we get a large number of late registrations

Just to be sure....the entrance fee covers everyone in your party correct? I will have 3 people total. Next, the price on the NCPARS site was higher. Is it $15 or $10 for non members.

How does a non member secure a table? Is it first come first served? I was asked by someone that does not belong to NCPARS

vendors and swappers that are setting up can get in at about 9 am,the general public will not be allowed in until 11 am when the event starts
